How to judge roofing work
A roof is the one system that protects every other part of a building, which is why the way a contractor inspects matters more than the brochure. A thorough look covers flashing, penetrations, valleys and decking — not just the field of shingles — because that is where water actually finds its way in.
Roof lifespan depends more on installation quality and attic ventilation than on the material alone. Poor ventilation cooks shingles from underneath, and incorrect nailing patterns void many manufacturer warranties. The useful questions to ask any roofer are about process and sequence, not only price.

We used storm roofing in September because we saw a post on our local neighboorhood app from the manager Jeremy. He seemed very professional and willing to go above an beyond for the customer. We called them and set up the appointment for a roof inspection. When our insurance inspector came out, they initially denied our claim due to an incorrect event date that had been entered by a previous roof company. Jeremy talked do the insurance agent and corrected the date and just like that, our claim was approved! Jeremy took such good care of us. He answered all of our questions and made himself available to us at any time. When they came out to do the work, it was done very quickly and looked amazing! They were very respectful of our belongings and pets, and cleaned the yard so well after, you would not have known we had roof work done. We have since moved and continued to call on Storm to inspect our new house roof. We were told the roof on our new house was bread new, but Jeremy was able to find some very worrisome problems that indicated the other roofing company cut a few major corners. Because he found these, we were able to get them fixed before the purchase was finalized, saving us big money! We can't say enough great things about Storm Roofing!
